| You’ll
need:
An
inflatable or plastic wading pool
Floating
plastic fish or rubber ducks
Flexible
magnetic strips that can be cut into pieces with scissors
(available at craft or hardware stores)
Scissors
Permanent
marker
Sticks,
two-to-three-feet long
String
Set
up and play:
Write
a different number on the bottom of each fish or duck
with the permanent marker. Write numbers on the prizes
that match the numbers on the floating objects.
Stick
a piece of magnetic strip on the top of each floating
object, above water level.
To
make the fishing pole, tie a piece of string to one
end of each stick. On the other end of the string, attach
a piece of magnetic strip.
Fill
the pool with water to make a “pond.”
Players
“catch” a fish or duck with their fishing
pole and win the prize that matches the number on it.
